SHIPPING POLICY


*NOTICE - Where can we ship

We have been shipping across the US for over 5 years now, shipping to all 50 states. Most of our products can ship to nearly every state in the US, however no thanks to government interest in profit over people, our full spectrum CBD products cannot be sold or shipped to anyone residing in Washington any longer, with one category acceptation of (CHABA) Cannabis Health and Beauty Aids. All of our topicals can be sold anywhere within Washington as they are not consumable applications. If you are in a state that has also made such poor decisions regarding consumable CBD products, once your address has been entered while completing your order., our state & product selector will alert you if a certain product cannot be shipped to your specific state.  There is also a list at the bottom of each product page with info regarding any specific shipping regulations that may be affected by state laws.

We have shipped to over 10 countries as well, though we do not do much international shipping other then bulk ingredients to support other formulators, we are currently working out customs regulations for different countries and further exportation of all of the products on our site.



Upon ordering from Science Under Nature, all retail orders are fulfilled within 36 hours.

Often same day if submitted before 12pm. Our shipping department is very swift with picking your order, properly packaging & shipping through UPS or USPS, whichever faster and or more affordable. We specifically utilize the program of Pirate Ship to select the shipping provider. Pirate Ship works directly with the USPS and is extremely consistent with expected delivery times, (for other product creators, we highly suggest their service!).


Packaging

For many of our products we use consistent packaging that can only be used for the proper protection of our larger glass bottle products. We at SUN care very much for Mother Earth, knowing this, many of our decisions are rooted in reducing waste, using recycled & upcycled materials and less plastic when possible. From time to you may see a reused box that best fits the products purchased and to keep the shipping cost down. We reuse clean egg cartons, bubble wrap & Kraft paper that we have received in materials & products we ourselves purchase, we also cut to the right size left over paper towel cardboard rolls. These would all just become more trash if we did not continue to keep them in our human use system. Know that these materials are always & only used when as clean as they were when first used. We appreciate that our customers care as much as we do, we often hear the interest in returning used bottles from products sold. However as we do not have an Industrial  kitchen sterilizing washer, WE DO NOT put previously used bottles or packaging returned from our customers back into our production system. We would love to if they could be properly cleaned as if new, but this is not an option yet.

We have been providing their eco conscious packaging options in our shipments for over 5 years now and the relationship continues to be smooth and fruitful. They continue to create new recycled options and refine and develop their offerings to the shipping needs of nearly all industries. They are honest about much of the greenwashing which takes place in their industry and their integrity and practices speak for themselves. Always forward thinking, they’re even looking at using seaweed as an input option, and hey, maybe we can assist them with mushroom mycelium options in the near future! We currently use their padded mailers, shipping boxes, and Kraft Flatback packing Tape, as well as paper bags for sales at vending events. (again for other product creators, we highly suggest working with them as they care as we do!)



Lost, Stolen, Damaged and Slow Delivery

None of these occurrences are something any of us want to experience.

We do our best to package up our SUN products with enough padding to get them through even the longest of delivery routes. That being said, strange things can happen from time to time.


Lost or Stolen

If it has been longer than 2 days past the expected delivery date, please contact us if we have not already been communicating regarding this issue and we will help make a decision of further steps to take. If the package says delivered but nothing is there, we will first go through all possible places it may have gone relating to your area. Once all possible locations bring no results, we will then prepare another shipment and send to you next day if possible. If the package does show back up, please do be honest with us and we can work something out. And we sure hope that your package never gets stolen, of course let us know if it does.


Damaged or Missing Part

In the rare chance that your package arrives damaged to such a point that the product inside has been affected, you have 2 options. Upon emailing us with the situation and a clear picture of the damaged package & the affected product, you can choose from a full refund with shipping cost or an immediate replacement order shipped to you again. Once we have the description & a clear picture of the damage, we will contact the shipping company and submit the occurrence.

We appreciate your assistance with helping us collect as much data regarding the damaging incident.

Upon opening your package, if something is missing that your ordered, the product is the wrong milligram size or not the correct product, please contact us immediately with a picture of the what is off with the shipment & we will reship the correct, product, size or missing part free of charge. You win, you get to keep the wrong product or size that was sent, or your welcome to share it with your family!


Delivery Speed

Our retail products ship out same or next day in most cases. Sometimes it may take a few days if we have just sold out of a specific product, so we need to make more or we are currently at an event and won’t be back for a few days until we can produce more. If you are in Washington, it should take no more than 2 days from the delivery time to the chosen shipper. If you are in Southern California or further East than Colorado, it should not take longer than 4 days, East coast shipment may take up to a week to receive. Shipping times are generally trustworthy, however, experiencing what happened in 2020 and the unfolding events which affected shipping and receiving & importation of goods and materials, if there is another occurrence which creates stress upon the international shipping lanes, do expect longer then normal wait times. Also during holidays, always order ahead of time & expect packages to have added days onto the delivery times.
