DMSO

2oz - Dropper

PRODUCT SIZE

2oz dropper bottle

DESCRIPTION

DMSO is a very unique yet simple chemical that has been in use since the mid 1800’s.

A byproduct of Kraft paper making, the pulp of non specific types of trees is a colorless, slightly oily liquid.

Primarily used as a solvent for industrial purposes, in the 1960’s research began within clinical research studies relating to human uses. It is however known to quickly penetrate skin upon topical application. It is known as a carrier and a driver.

It freezes into a state of suspension at below 65˚.

DMSO has many uses, which we are sadly not allowed to elaborate upon. However you can look below at clinical studies & research points which have been looked into.

INGREDIENTS

99% pure Dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO)

SERVINGS PER CONTAINER / DOSAGE

Amount used may be that of drops, or up to as much volume is desired for mixing with other ingredients or direct application.
- Some say it's best to dilute, we say do a skin test, if no reaction, you're good!

SHELF LIFE

100% efficacy for 3 months.

One study found that the probability of observing a compound in DMSO decreased to 92% after three months of storage at room temperature, 83% after six months, and 52% after one year. May be used just as well after years on the shelf, with a lowered potency

For longest life, keep in refrigerator and remove and place in a warm space away from UV light for 1 hr. Once in a liquid state again, use as needed & replace into fridge.

Natural product (Freezing May occur)

Keep above 65˚

Clinical Research & Studies have show uses for:

  • Pain
  • Arthritis
  • Headaches
  • Tennis elbow
  • Frozen shoulder
  • Inflammation
  • As a Liniment
  • Cold sores
  • Scars
  • Eye Problems
  • For use with Horses
  • As a solvent for other ingredients
  • As a driver of other ingredients for absorbing through the epidermis

*These are not confirmations of any beneficial uses due to FDA oversight.

They are merely anecdotal references & topics which have been clinically studied.

Please browse the internet, books & history for more info on purported uses…

ALLERGEN INFO / PRECAUTIONS

*KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN

CAUTION Use appropriately, avoid concentrated prolonged contact with skin, may cause irritation. Wash well after handling, if contact with eyes occurs, flush immediately & seek medical advice

If contact with skin occurs, some have reported a Garlic taste in mouth,

(but not with our DMSO as many say DMSO has a sulfur smell, where ours does not)

Dry skin may occur.

A systematic review of 109 studies showed that the most common adverse effects, (if any at all) of DMSO were mild, transient gastrointestinal and skin reactions, and that small amounts appear to be safe.
Allergic Reactions which have been researched (usually using large amounts or those with specific allergies include:

  • Shortness of Breath
  • Dizziness
  • Flushing
  • Rash
  • Difficulty swallowing
  • Feeling hot
  • Palpitations
